Hi. If it is a yellow jack then it is a composite video wire. Any Radio Shack. If it is a larger round jack with like five pins it is an S-video. There are also a few other types (RGB, DVI, etc, but they are less common on older sets.)

AV cable connects to TV OUT port of graphic card.

depends on what video card jack and tv jacks have in common, i've done it with rca, s-video , and even coax thru vcr. older sets rca newer s-video.
