tomorrow I'll have to say a few words on a certain protestant group. (protestant) i will have to answer the question "what sacraments does this group acknowledge and how do the believers understand the sacraments?" I am wondering do "sacraments" in this question refer to their basic beliefs? how would I go about answering this question?

The word sacrement regards to the different religious rituals that the church practices in the congregation. For example, baptism, confirmation, and marriage are all considered sacrements. Some protestant denominations consider ordination to also be a sacrement (this is when a man or woman becomes a priest, minister, etc.). Sacrements are not the key beliefs of a denomination. The basic beliefs of a denomination are the church's doctrine or mission statement. Also, you must consider the fact that there are various protestant churches each with their own independent beliefs.

um...I think the question is in the wrong section but I believe sacraments are um...for lack of a better term, props. I've heard of sacramental wine - things used during worship/services. Of course I'm totally not sure. You could google it. Google ROCKS! lol

How is this in any way remotely related to LGBT issues? Please delete this question and ask it in the "religion" category.
