I've been researching this topic for a long time and even have a book on it called "Mirror Images ( Is there a genetic link to spirit?) but other than movie personalities etc. I have not been able to get 2 pictures of 2 different people that look alike or extremely close but not directly genetically linked. Still looking for this, even though I know this to be a truth and have had some close ones from people, but unable to use them. who has found their doppleganger, lookalike and haven't died? Dying is just a myth about the doppleganger, but believed to be true in parts of Europe.

The strange thing is that the likeness goes way beyond physical, If you have had this experience you may have noticed similar dress, hair, mannerisms, tatoos even, names, cars, etc. it is all very similar to an identical twin. really need photos from anyone who has the proof.of 2 of you that I could use in book, and would love to have the two of you on tv. let me know your experience anyway. it's fascinating to hear.

When I moved during my Junior year of high school to a new state, I met her. Teachers would confuse us. It was so irritating. I moved away after graduating early our senior year.
Sadly, she killed herself in her dorm room our freshman year of college. For a few months, it was very uncomfortable to visit town because people I didn't know thought I was her. They were shocked to see me walking around the mall.
I found the whole thing unnerving, but at the same time, I feel like I have an obligation to live the life she might have.
As bizarre as this sounds, it is also very true. Was I her double, or was she mine?

When my aunt was in high school she worked at this fats food place. This older man would come in every day and ask for her to be his waitress. After a while my aunt got really freaked out and one of her friends confronted the man and told him he had made my aunt cry and scared her badly. Then the man pulled out a picture and asked that my aunt look at it. She said that if she had recognized the background she would have sworn that it was her.

I've had my share of lookalikes. When my cousin was in Iraq, he took a picture of a girl that looked just like me. When my friend went to Greece, he found that his sister-in-law had an American lookalike. Me. It's rather strange, you know.

ok, i don't really know if this is the same thing, but when i was in 6th grade and i was lookin through the yearbook for that school year and i saw a picture in it with a girl playing the flute at one of the pep rallys and she looked exactly exactly like me!( and i know for sure it wasn't me because I'm a choir student and i could play an instrument good to save my life) and when i showed all my friends and asked who it was, they all said that it was me and they couldn't believe it when i said it wasn't! weird huh?

There's no such thing. At first blush, you might think, "Oh, a dead-ringer for so and so!" But on close scrutiny you find infinite differences. Faces are like fingerprints. (Not speaking of identical twins, you understand.)

Well, last year I was around someone that apparently was like, my twin... and I agree now, that we looked A LOT alike... and apparently there was someone this year too, but she looks nothing like me...
And no, she hasn't died and I am not a ghost either... lol...

I'm sure you've heard of "identical twins". I think what you're saying is people not in your family, right?
Well, then no. Different people, different DNA, fingerprints, all that stuff.
