Have you ever been to Niagara Falls, Canada? If you have, what did you think of the city?

It will hurt massively on both sides. People going to tourist destinations will have passports, no problem. The people making the spur-of-the-moment trips won't go to the expense of getting passports, and those are the people that are the bread and butter tourists and shoppers of border towns. Love Niagara Falls. That is one area that will hurt, on both sides, but the tourist attraction of the area will keep it from being decimated.

No for its no big deal to get a passport and may even help from having riffraff and other undesirables going into Canada from US and Vice Versa. Most people (except the gripers that gripe about anything and everything) will even feel safer for will make it more difficult for those with bad intentions to cross over into either country. Have not been to Niagra Falls or Canada but have relatives who raved about the untamed wildness of the Power and beauty of the Fallsand enjoyed still the pristine beauty of Canada's Wilderness-toured the country's wilderness and nature places in RV and had a great time

it definetely will hurt on both sides....how many canadians cross the border every week to go to a buffalo bills game during football season, how many hockey fans come here to see the sabres play....i live outside of buffalo ny and can tell you on weekends the local malls and even supermarkets are filled with canadian license plates, they even come over in greyhound buses to shop...how many times have people who loive close to the border decided spur of the moment to take their child to marineland for the day or the butterfly conservatory..i know my husband and i have....i do not think it will affect only tourism though,i know quite a few people who live on one side of the border yet work on the other...i know at least 4 nurses who live in canada and work in ny state

i personally feel niagara falls canada is too commercialized but thats what the people wanted...i havent been down clifton hill in years and do not go across for the tourist stuff....have gone to the falls view casino a couple times though...if you want commercialism and cheap trinkets go to the canadian side,if you want to see the nature of the falls go to the american side

It will make visits to Canada a lot more pleasant. As all the booze swilling rednecks won't have the IQ to be able to handle passport application forms.
