I used a razor blade to get the majority off but I'm afraid of cutting into the plastic. The container only tells you how to get it off of your body, does it work the same way on other things?

Laquer thinner should cut it without harming the tub surface. It is used a lot to take contact cement rom laminate countertops etc. It will soften the hardeners in liquid nails and make it come up easier. It's still a little messy but it will work

You can get 100% aceton at walmart next to the fingernail polish remover! oh and just to be on the safe side keep away from styrifoam learned that the hard way!
