Your teacher (I believe) is asking for you to do a comparison between drinking salt water and sugar water, what happens to your body when you do both, and why.

You do not need to drink alot of either the salt water or the sugar water to find out the results. 2-3 oz. is plenty or about half of a coffee cup. Also, after you drink the mixture, and you record your observations, you need to drink a small glass of water to reset your body in preparation for the next test. You don't immediately (I don't think) want to drink the sugar water directly after the salt water, but its better to ask the teacher to clarify, just in case.

Salt absorbs moisture, so that drinking salt water actually dehydrates you and makes you thirsty. You don't need to have a whole lot of salt in your salt-water cup to feel the affects of it, just enough to taste. The same with the sugar water. Sugar water should act as a stimulant (Coca Cola is basically colored sugar water) and should release a small bit of energy within you, giving you bit of a rush. And the small amounts of salt and sugar you will be 'drinking' won't have any more affect on you than anything else you have eaten or tasted.

Not having more information on what your science project is, my only real advice is to ask your teacher for clarification on how much salt-water and sugar water you need to drink.

because of the fact oceans are so huge, the water that evaporates in basic terms rains returned off into it. in case you're able to type some style of equipment that evaporates salt water, and then separately makes that evaporated water returned into H2O, sure, it would be sparkling. Salt would not evaporate. in case you bypass away a small glass of salt water out for a pair days, purely dry salt would be left at the back of. that's surely a exhausting technique which could make salt water drinkable.

It will make you puke. That's what it did to me when I swallowed salt water in the sea by accident.
