um. i would donate half of it to a worthy cause that has nothing to do with me. the other half i would keep for myself.
ive thought about this b4 and realized that if i won the lottery i would do the same. even though 1000 dollars isnt even 1% of the lottery amount its still the same concept. I got money without doing anything. i was doing fine without it. so why do i need all of it????
im not just pulling a "how-saintly-am-i" over here. i have truly belived that. but things change if my salary is like 100 grand per year. cuz then i have expenses to cover. i would still do good for the community. just not as much at one time compared to if i won the lottery.

Well, $500.00 goes to the IRS I supose, so half $250.00 of that should go to some charity. $125.00 is probably expected be other family members. $62.50 should go into the bank for a day when I am coming up short. Not much left, maybe dinner and a movie if I am lucky.

I would exchange it for 1000 pennies and gently put each one in a line on a train track and see how many pennies a train can plow through before derailing. I guess I'm a little messed up...

Uhm... I think I'd save up... for a laptop that is REALLY good, or I'd buy a video iPod or a digital camera or an ok laptop with the money... Good question!

if you lose the money, big deal you didnt have it before anyway.
but if you make good choices you could have much more than just 1000 dollars
