That depends on if you play the video games or not. Those who don't play the video games don't really understand the movie, or appreciate how well the directors stuck to the plot line of game one and three. So they'd say it was a two or so. I play the video games, as do a lot of my friends, and we all give the movie a five. I loved it. It stuck to the darkness of the games, and the disturbing nature of the characters. But my mom, who doesn't play the games, didn't understand it, and didn't care for it much. So, if you play the games, defiantly watch it, you'll love it. Otherwise, it's hard to say.

good for a rent. mind blowingly bizarre. if you are amused by being totally confused, bewildered, and freaked out like i am, than its good. Plus the special effects are great. some really horrific scenes. sometime u dont understand WHY its happening but its cool when it does! -2.5 outta 5.

Not great but still entertaining, buy it if you want to see it, I would say try and rent it first. Everyone is different and has different views on movies, what I like you might hate, so only go with your own opinion on things.
