As part of a personal research project I have been investigating human emotions. Most interesting of all is the emotion of Love, since it seems to have many different forms and facets to it. Personally I have ID'd seven distinctive form of this emotion springing from different sources and stimulus.
My question is, Are there any people (philosophers) or groups (medical researchers, etc.) who have investigated love and what did they find?

There are as many ways to love as there are things (or people) to love.
And consider that love can exist between two or more people. Does that love exist beyond each individuals' subjective feelings?
There have been times when, in the presence of two people who truly love each other, I could almost swear I could feel an objective feeling of love "around" them. Perhaps it was just "contentment pheromones".
But then perhaps there is only one kind of love, the kind we feel when something/anything happens to trigger that "love biochemical" in our brains.
