1. Falcons- They must prove that they are playoff material, because having Michael Vick and not making the playoffs will turn feelings sour in Atlanta.

2. Bengals- This team SHOULD have made the playoffs last season, but failed. So much talent all around, must use it wisely.

3. Giants- needs to regroup after the bitter conflicts arising from last season. With Tiki, Lavar, and others gone, the whole "complete change" hopefully will pay off. Giant's fans want the tension on a low, and become one big unit once again.

I'd say the Colts, Bears, Chargers, and Seahawks. The Colts want to repeat and shut the critics up for good. It would also essentially end this Patriots so-called dynasty. The Bears need to get back to the Super Bowl to be considered truly the class of the NFC (there's plenty of doubters). If the Chargers get to the Super Bowl, they'll make Marty Schottenheimer look REAL bad. The Seahawks lost games they should've won because they missed Shaun Alexander. A healthy Alexander plus more time for Branch and Hasselbeck to get acquainted means a more dangerous Seahawks team that wants to get back to the big game.

E A G L E S ! Donovan Mcnabb is under the microscope in Philadelphia. He might not be back at the beginning of the season. Did they mess up letting Garcia go? Did they let him go because Donovan felt threatened? He is kind of a weenie. He still complains that the fans booed him on draft day. They signed a guy (aj feely) that all these fans love as a QB but why did San Diego let him go? Lb stink. They need a another Rb and wr. The eagles brass think they are geniuses.

I think the Saints have a lot to prove. Last year was a great season, but next season we will see if it was just emotion. But the cowboys need to prove they will be OK without Parcells

Saints and Steelers are good ones. Though Tom Brady has nothing left to prove referring to his ability, you could argue Patriots cuz they came 4 points within the SB this past year. I'll also say the Rams because of that offense and the Vikings because they wasted a good year on defense and have their future QB (maybe?) in Tavaris Jackson with a couple games under his belt. You could also venture to say the Eagles who came within a field goal of the NFC championship game for the 4th time in 5 years...only this time without Donovan McNabb

The Colts do they have to come back and not have a bad season like the Steelers. I am not saying they got lucky they beat the Bears and don't deserve the Super Bowl they did. But they can't have a bad season next year.

i think the Bengals have the most to prove. They underachieved horribly last year and every other player was arrested. Marvin needs to prove that he still holds the reigns on that team and bring them back to playoff form. The city deserves it, the team deserves it and coach lewis deserves it.

Jacksonville, they are a great team but can't seem to pull it all together to make it. They need to work on keeping a healthy QB and being more consitant. They have a great D and if they get the offense involved I think they are SuperBowl Champs!

Nice answer iowe..... The Eagles have the most to prove. Can they win with McNabb like they did with Garcia? Can they have a good draft? Can they resign Stallworth? Can they have a good offseason? Can Westbrook be like they say he is? They got so much to prove, I can't name it all.

i agree with everything matts413 said, but i also believe that the saints need to go out and prove that they can remain one of the elite teams in football...they stole the heart of everybody in america, and everyone is rooting for them, but they will have to go out and show the league that they are one of the best
