What will happen to our country that is always divided over race finds out that he was half black because his mother was a slave, which would prove why he fought so hard to stop slavery?

Yep, I couldn't believe it neither. This is some new information and facts that Washington somehow has dug up. I can see why they kept it secret. Of course, I can see that these other folks are going off of their history class from years ago and they don't stay up to date. That is one thing about us white folks, is that we are scared of giving credit to anyone other then us because we fear that they may take over. Good Question.

you must be reading comic books. Lincoln was not half black . and Lincoln owned slaves himself he was forced to sell due to his political standing and thus he went on to become the great emancipator. don't forget, history is just that, his story and it is always told by the winners, never the losers. when you read history, read all the things you can find on the subject regardless of where the source comes from. you may just learn something
