It sounds to me like you have a "tilted uterus". When the fetus gets to approx. 10-12 weeks, you have a miscarriage. There is an older method, but I am not sure they still do it. When your first discovered to be pregnant, the lst mo. the Gynaecologist inserts what is called, a "pessary". It is like a cradle, and it hold the uterus up and doesn't allow it to fall down and abort. You do not need any pain medication to have this done, it is no more painful then a pap test, just uncomfortable. Once in, you will forget about it. Do NOT lift any heavy objects, do NOT take hot baths. Do NOT have "rough" sex! or even "deep" sex. You don't any anymore changes, as far as I know, 3 miscarriages are the limit for the uterus and combine that with your age, your window of opportunity is closing fast. What I don't understand, is WHY would you come to this forum for an answer to such a "major" question? Don't you have a doctor? Try doing some research on Google/pregnancy - etc - Good Luck!

First and foremost, have a complete physical and have the father have a complete physical via you ob / gyn's office

Second (and this is from my very own experiences) miscarriages can happen because of many different variables - just because one person had a miscarriage because of low folic acid levels doesn't mean that is the reason you are

Third - prior to even trying to get pregnant get yourself on a safe exercise program and eat healthy foods and if you smoke QUIT
if you drink QUIT -- you need to have the healtiest vessle (womb) to prepare for a growing fetus.

Fourth - Don't give up until the doctor tells you that you wont be able to carry a baby to full term

I can help. First of all, go to your GYN and have your yearly pap if you have not already done so. Ask him/ her to refer you to a fertility specialist. You will want to call the patient info number on the back of your insurance card and find out what your infertility coverage is. Most companies will pay for diagnostic testing only, which means that they will only pay to find out what is causing your infertility issues. Please know that infertility means the inability to carry a pregnancy, not just the inability to become pregnant. I work for four infertility specialists in Nashville, and there are a lot of women in your boat, so don't lose hope.
You and your partner(husband, boyfriend...) will both need to unergo some basic testing to see where the issue lies, but it sounds like you may have hormonal imbalances that cause your body to reject and attack the pregnancy, sort of like it would a virus. Or your cervix or uterus may not be strong enough to carry a pregnancy.
No matter what the issue is, you are not the first woman who will have had it, and there are a variety of options for any woman who wants a child. A fertility specialist will not only help diagnose you, but can also refer you to support groups, an excellent OB who specializes in high risk pregnancies, and if necessary donor or adoption services.
Be aware that these services can be expensive, and many insurances will not cover them. Some women spend tens of thousands of dollars a year and never conceive. Others, however, need only a simple procedure or steroid to get and stay pregnant. The specialist will be honest with you about your odds and if you need to explore adoption or a surrogate instead.

Good luck!

Miscarriages happen for a number of reasons. Your Dr. can refer you to a fertility treatment centre if it's a hormonal reason. It's possible that you just need to have some progesterone suppositories to support your pregnancy, or if you miscarry later on, you could have an incompitent cervix, which can also be fixed. Try to relax and make an appointment to talk about your options with your doctor. Good luck!

OK one reason that may you keep having miscarriage could be because you body may not be ready to carry a baby to term. It could be a lot of things including stress, weight and healthy issue. Don't try to keep top get pregnant because by doing that your setting yourself up for failure. Just let it happen don't plan a baby because when you it don't happen get on knees and pray. Start also working on your health

Your doctor or gyn doctor can help you. Sounds like your body suddenly rejects the fetus and you miscarriage. I've heard about this and there is injections that your doctor can prescribe, not 100% positive, but I really think there is something out there for this.

Please seek professional advice concerning this. A high risk pregnancy should always be closely monitored by your Doctor.
There are things he/she can do to help your baby grow to term.
One would be bed rest for however long your Doctor prescribes it. And if you start having contractions before your nineth month, your Doctor can give you drugs to make them stop, usually. Good luck. I'll be saying a prayer for you.

Of course you need an ObGyn, but you have to put your faith in the Lord and totally trust Him. It is THE hardest lesson to learn, but it will or will not happen according to His plan. God has a plan for you. Ask Him to show you His will for your life. I pray that God will show you His plan for you. I do hope that a baby is part of that plan.
