When I was in high school I had a friend that did the very same thing, day in and day out, "Are you mad at me?" " Are you okay?". I wasn't mad at her and I was fine! But her constantly asking me was making me mad at her and making me not okay. Finally I sat down with her, on a day for just the two of us, and I told her " I want to talk to you about something. I love you, you are a dear friend of mine. You have to trust that. It's upsetting me that you are always asking if I'm mad at you or if I'm okay. As a friend, I will tell you if what you are doing is making me mad, and as a friend, I will let you know if I'm not okay. So please, trust that you are my friend, and stop being so careful and concerned. I appreciate that you care for me, but you are allowed to tone it down and have some fun." That was back in 1996, We are BEST FRIENDS till this day in 2007.

She may come from a point of view to where she had some great friends and as immaturity happens, her friends and her no longer are friends anymore... I'm not sure, that was my friends case and she was just being too careful .
