You are probably thinking of the 'Planes of Fame' aircraft museum at the small community of Valle, Arizona which is about 10 miles south of Grand Canyon National Park (this is the spot where highway 180 from Flagstaff meets highway 64 from Williams). There is not much in Valle other than a hotel, a couple of gas stations, the air museum and the funky 'Flinestone Village' tourist trap and RV park. The air museum is a smaller associate of the much larger and better known 'Planes of Fame' aircraft museum in Chino, CA.
I have visited the Valle museum several times and from what I remember (and from the websites below), they DO have a Blue Angel's aircraft ( an F11 Tiger), but I don't believe they have a Boeing B-17 bomber.
The have about a dozen complete aircraft and portions of others, plus a number of displays. Their most famous items are a Lockheed Constallation once used by Gen. Douglas MacAuther and portions of a rare Japanese Hayabusa "Oscar" fighter from World War II. It is a smaller museum, but not bad.
The best aircraft museum in Arizona (and one of the best in the world) is the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson (near the D-M air base) which has over 80 aircraft, including many rare experimental craft. Falcon Field in Mesa (suburb of Phx) does have a number of Confederate Air Force planes, but its main attraction, the famous 'Champion Fighter Museum' was moved out of state a couple years ago.

The Confederate Air Force has a hanger at Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona. There is no Blue Angels display but they do have a B-17 you can view, along with a captured WWII German troop carrier. The Air Force Thunderbirds make yearly appearances at air shows in the Chandler, Arizona area.

yes and no, they are having airshow on March 16-19 at Davis Monthan Airforce Base, (tucson, arizona) and they are coming.
if you want to see B-17 go to airmuseum around phenix.
at DMAFB air show, they will have f-117, f-22, u-2, C-5, F-4, and more. you should go. and if you have kids over 12yrs old tell them to go talk to Civil Air Patrol kids since it is great program if you are interested in airplanes.
