I assume that all presidents and politicians do their share of womanizing. The only reason we know more about Clinton's womanizing is that the Republicans were so adamant about finding out and publicizing. If you people would just mind your own damn business and leave everyone else alone, you wouldn't have to know anything about this man's sex life. He sure as hell didn't want to volunteer the details. Besides, aren't all you righteous cons just being a LITTLE hypocritical? Aren't all of you moral-less spawns of Satan getting some on the side? Come on! Be honest (for once)! You know it's true, and it just kills you that you're a bad person, doesn't it?

As it did then it still does get discussion of the topic of real issues and moves to trivial matters. The Cons know that when we talk real issues they lose big time so they don't want to talk about that stuff. It is much easier to overemphacise something unimportant.
Fact: No one died becaues Clinton made whooppee with bimbos. How many died in Iraq because of Bush's lies?
Fact: President Chester A. Arthur was right when he said that "The private life of the President of the United States is nobody's damn business". It was true in the 1800's and is true today.

Your comments are a bit over the top, but the whole Clinton thing was way overplayed. Who hasn't lied about sex? And, how many of us would have said 'hey you got me'. No one can claim that the pursuit of Clinton helped the country.
No it hurt the country bad. Yes, he should not have lied but we wasted valuable time and national prestige trying to prosecute his foibles. People in other countries laughed out loud at the American puritan culture.
Unlike W, no one died when Clinton's zipper dropped and he lied. We have lost total perspective. Surely the end is near.

Because we Americans love our tabloid stories! We have Americans in harms way, and the big news stories today? Anna Nicole is gonna be buried in the Bahamas and Paris Hilton had her car impounded.
And no, *I'm* not being hypocritical, I've been married for 27 years and I have nothing to hide. I have, of course lusted in my heart, but Nicole Kidman is off the market again, oh well ;-)
