I was told to give it some time, but I don't like the way my skin feels after I use it.

When you switch skin care products your skin adjusts to the new stuff. It usually takes about 6 weeks to really tell if the products are doing what they are supposed to. If it makes your face red, this can indicate an allergic reaction or if it makes it rough/ dry it is too strong for your skin. Your skin should feel smooth, clean and look a little shiny when you have nothing on it. Hope this is helpful. If you need further advice, you can write me and ask.

Absolutely. Stop it immediately You are probably allergic to something in the skin care product. I can give you a few websites that sell organic natural skin care products that I can really recommend as I use the products myself. There is one site called: Greenridgeherbals.com that is fabulous. Very pure products line. They have the best skin care products and specialize in cleansers, moisturizers, eyecreams, toners, etc. Also naturalsolutions.com. and Onyaorganics.com. for natural makeup and eye creams and moisturizers. Her line is a little expensive but so pure and natural. No synthetic products are used. These two websites sell the best products on the market and they are so pure. No irritating ingredients at all. All natural ingredients are used. I have turned over to all natural products for skin care and makeup because I have very sensative skin. So try these sites. The people are reliable and the quality of the products are superb. Best of Luck

NO. If it's breaking you out, then you might be allergic to one of the ingredients in the product, or your skin is really sensitive to it. So I would discontinue it, and let your face clear up on its own and try something else. When you use a skin care product, it's supposed to clear it up, not break it out. Now if you use an exfoliant, when you first use it you will get a few bumps because it's flushing out the impurities in the pores, and it will clear up, but really in many circumstances should it break your face out, so just put it on the shelf and try something else.

I sell Mary Kay and it is not unusual for someone to break out when they switch to a new skin care especially if you were not exfoliating your skin previously. You are bringing all the dirt to the surface.
With that said you should not be uncomfortable. If your skin is irritated or you are uncomfortable then stop. If you were my customer I would want to sit down with you to see what is happening and find out what we need to switch does this product have SPF in it ? I find that to be the most common reason people breakout. If you want a Mary Kay consultant in your area go to www.marykay.com and use the locate they will sit down with you and find the right products for your skin.

I would quit using right away, unless it's a dermatologist who told you to give it some time. But if it's a friend or a relative, just tell them that every skin is different and that what works for them isn't probably working for you. Maybe your skin is more sensitive or more prone to acne or both. Listen to what your skin tells you.

if it was not prescribed, stop using it - it could be causing an allergic reaction and plus, who wants a face full of unnecessary zits? ; )
However, sometimes prescription products will cause skin to get slightly worse before getting better. so I guess whether or not you should stop using it depends upon what type of product it is.

I would definately try something else. If you don't like the way it feels toss it out and try again! It might take a while but you'll find something you like. My faves are from the drugstore. Very inexpensive. Dove for sensitve, slightly dry or combo skin or dial liquid handwashing soap for oily. I swear by it!

Are you sure it is the product? Did the dermatolist recommend it? If it is hurting or looking really bad, stop it!
