Handles kinda depend on what you're known for. I used to have a green Morris Mini, so I used the handle "Kermit the Brick". Just keep it short and easy to understand, and avoid the "tough" handles - like "Ninja", or "Slaughter"...that kind of thing. They always make you sound pretty dumb. The "Cue Ball" idea sounds pretty good.

It's been a while, but here's the few I can remember of the basic CB lingo:
10-20 (sometimes called your "20") - your location.
Breaker - used to break into someone else's conversation.
Smokey (not sure if they still use this one) - State Trooper.
Brown Paper Bag - unmarked police cruiser.

That's about all I can remember - it's been more than a few years now. If only I could find my memory... Have fun!

A handle will come to you over time. One day it will just come to you.

No need to play "Radio Joe" with all the lingo. Plain English is fine. As you hear the truckers, you'll pick up on some of the slang they use. Again, give it time. It is always best to listen and learn.

By the way: NEVER, and I mean, NEVER call someone a "Good Buddy" That term is now considered by all to be an insult!
