This is not a problem 99% of the time. Heck, I deposit checks made out to my 14 y/o daughter with a different last name and not a problem. Just sign the check with your maiden name and your married name, should be just fine.

Is this an account you started after your marriage? If not, then they should already know what your maiden name is.
If it is a new account, have you changed your name on your drivers license yet? If so, all you would have to do is show that to your teller, and it would be a non-issue.
Regardless, depositing is not so much the issue as is CASHING a check. I would sign both last names (hyphenate)on the back to be sure.

Sure, thats simple-- just bring your old ID with you too. Plus your bank account probably once had your maiden name as well. No biggie.

Yes, in this case you would sign the old name then the new name underneath. Basically your making it payable to yourself old to new.

Endorse it on the back, stating "Pay to Current Name" where current name is your married name.
