b. totally wrong IT DESERVED TO GO TO EDDIE!!
c. just because Eddie made Norbit
Were you TOTALLY SURPRISED by it?
I saw little miss sunshine and loved Alan Arkin, but i never saw Dream girls so I can't really judge.

I didn't see Dream girls,and I am sure that Eddie Murphy did a great job. But Alan Arkin did a wonderful job too, which is why I wasn't surprised. This was Arkins third nomination and first award, he has worked hard for it and he did a wonderful job in Little Miss Sunshine.

I would have to go through the reasons you state:
a: Alan did not do a better job. Eddie was great in Dream Girls. Alan was his regular self.
b: Not totally wrong. Just that Eddie was better
c: Eddie making Norbit did not help him. He should have waited to make this bomb. Can you see the academy voting for him after he made that embarrassment?
Eddie got robbed. Hope he can recover.

b. It deserved to go to Eddie but Arkin was just as good too. Eddie probably got points off for that horrid and unfunny garbage-Norbit! LOL!

d. because of Norbit AND Pluto Nash. Now Eddie is -1 instead of -2. One more great one and he will be eligible for awards.
