Hey people, she said that she compressed a disk in her back. Seems to me she already went to a doctor, or is a doctor, or maybe her daughter is a doctor, and looking for 2nd opinions. I would say go to a chiropractor. Most "medical" doctors say they are not worth going to so they dont loose money. But try a chiropractor first, they work wonders on my back.

Where did this occur? If at a gym, she should make a complaint so that her medical bills will be covered as she definitely needs a doctor and a chiropractor. If at home, retire the table. I assume this is not happening in real time so I hope that a doctor has already been visited. If not go now, go now, go now!!

Someone must have diagnosed a "compressed disc" here - who was it? Dr, chiro, PT? Somebody? I'd start with that professional first to figure out what to do.

If she diagnosed herself, she totally needs a 2nd opinion.

She needs to go to the doctor, starting with your family doctor. If she is lucky it will be a few pain pills and rest. If not she may have to see an orthopedic specialist

Anything to do with slipping a disk in your back, should automatically be taken to hospital for x-rays, she could have done
more damage to herself than what she/you see or feel. Plse go
a.s.p.

Thanks

Call 911 if it is an emergency. If not, make an appointment with a doctor. Make sure she doesn't make any abrupt movements.
