its a natural antibiotic, ive never heard of immune system boosting properties. agyria is very rare and usually the result of taking way to much. like way way too much. its safe to take a tablespoon 2x a day. look into colostrum, goldenseal/echinacea or transfer factor for immune system. transfer factor is the best

I just answered this the other day but here is a link with the pros and cons. I used it for sever infection and boosting the immune system. fine particle colloidal silver is best as it does not turn you blue the same as others or silver. Here is the link to see which is best, how to use and what to be careful of. It has its downside. visiting a health professional who uses this can help.

Colloidal silver is extremely dangerous.
See my blog on Yahoo 360. I posted a blog entry with links explaining the dangers of colloidal silver.
Fact. The ingestion of silver causes argyria (a permanent skin condition).
Fact there are are better, and safer things you can take without running an unnecessary risk of contaminating your system with silver particles.

It will not turn you blue unless you take it 7 TEASPOONS a DAY Everyday FOR the next 70 YEARS!!!! It works good as a antibiotic or antiviral!!! Also helps with allergies. I have used it for strep throat a few times and it worked great.

Can help as a local antibiotic but NOT taken orally. Does nothing for the immune system. See http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/PhonyAds/silverad.html
There's also no point to using it locally as many better and safer antibiotics are available, ie Polysporin.

taken in moderation it wont do anything-literally.
taken in abundance and it wont do anything BUT turn you gray or blue.
why do you need to boost your immune system?
your body makes it's own interferon-colloidal siver is not interferon....herbalists/naturalists claim CS has antibiotic properties. why would you take this if you aren't ill? (why would you want to take it if you weren't?)
just curious is all.
cure alls are just that-cure alls...no scientifics to it all, however, it is a form of reverse psychology....believe in it, it will work wonders...(mind over matter/placebo effect)
personally, i wouldn't waste my money, i'd be a greenless shade of gray!

I haven't tried it...yet. I have heard many good things about it.
What would you be using it for? Preventative? Enhancing?
