Just call your dr back. Unless your baby has a milk or lactose problem, you can just switch him cold-turkey (that's what I did, at my dr's recommendation). He actually preferred it b/c it's not as rich. Try switching to the cup at the same time, putting milk in the sipper cup during the day, and using the bottle only for a nightcap. If baby has trouble making the change, try blending milk to formula, half-and-half, and then gradually increasing the cow's milk over a week or two.

12 months is when pediatrcians say to give it a try. Try mixing formula and cow milk. first have it mostly formula and a little bit of milk. then slowly go to mostly cows milk with a bit of formula and then all cows milk. The baby wont notice!!

At 12 months, the AAP says it's okay to give cow's milk. Anytime before that, and the child lacks the proper enzyme for digestion.

Milk would not incorporate adequate food, supplementations or minerals for it to securely sustain a transforming into infant. we are informed to not provide infant milk until after a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of age regularly because of the fact milk isn't adequate to fulfill all of infant's particular nutritional standards during the 1st 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of existence. babies could be on breast milk or formulation or a combination of the two until after a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous.

personally I began giving my daughter "cow's milk" by the time she was a year old, however I continued giving her the formula as well until my pediatrician completely gave me the ok on totally switching her over, I think it is different for every child tho depending on how they have developed.....always check with your dr before trying anything new especially with all the allergy problems associated with so much these days

Go see a doctor. Have you gone to your 1 year appointment yet?

First see the doctor. Usually the doctor will tell you to switch over at 12 months, but first see the doctor.
