Can people hide their True selves?

Like when they talk nice to you one on one? But act nasty
toward you when they are around others? Does that tell you anything? Like, they are talking behind your back?
I know, you ain't WORRYING about that! That's the problem! Nobody wants to consider anything Now Days!
And then when the littlest thing happens, they "drop their pants"! But forwarned is forarmed. And when you expect the unexpected. It isn't half as hard to deal with when it happens.
Even a squirrel has enough sense to save a few nuts for the Winter! But Man thinks everything is Joke! What about you?
