Has been working fine. Couple days ago a page came up, said "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." Did the "Diagnose Connection Problems" thing got nothing. Ran a Troubleshoot and got a red flag on the LAN. The Network Connections show a connection in the Internet Gateway and the Wireless Network Connection but the Local Area Connection says "Network cable unplugged. Fire..." We have another computer on Wireless with no problems. Where do I go from here? Geeks only please.

Sounds like a tough one. First, go to Start>Control Panel, and click on "Network Connections." If the laptop has a wireless card, then one of the networks should say "Wireless network connection." Double click that, then click "View Wireless networks" at the bottom of the new window. Navigate to your wireless network and double click it. If it is unsecured, keep going. Otherwise enter your WEP Key (it comes with the Access point/Router.) If you can't find it, get your techie over there and have him help. After you enter the WEP key you should be good to go!

The network cable should be unplugged as you are going wireless. Open the Control Panel > Network Connections and make sure you haven't somehow disabled the Wireless (the status will say disabled if you have)

Also, right-click on your wireless network connection listed and choose "view available networks"

Also, Make sure you haven't turned off the wireless antenaa (FN + F2) and sometimes there is a physical switch for it on the laptop.

See if that starts something for connecting.

Got a Firewall running? Sometimes for whatever reason those dang Firewalls stop everything.......give it a try please.. Just turn off the firewall and then try to connect.

It looks such as you have a stable connection to the router, however the router itself doesnt have a connection to the internet. you may desire to login on your router and be advantageous its status and that it has a stable connection on your isp.
