If you haven't got your dress yet, then you can go to david's bridal if you have one in your area, and they can help you as well. they have different samples of ribbon and you can match them because you're going to need to get the color you want so the bridesmaids dresses will match or come close to the colors you want. or another thing you can do is go to any arts and crafts store and go to the ribbon and like up 3 or 4 colors to see if they coordinate... i picked out my best friend's wedding: lavender, chocolate, and silver.. my other friend had fuschia, banana and silver. I thought it would be funky, but it came out cute!!!
if it's gonna be in the summer you want some vivid and bright colors. like fucshia, tangerine, lime, teal, turquoise,..... you see where I'm going? Basically the best format is to pick one color that will stand out, another color to coordinate or to contrast that, and something either neutral like a creamish color or a metallic to make it pop. I know it soundes funky, but it can all be pulled off in good taste with the right vision and direction. Good luck and congrats.

Its up to you! I had absolutely no idea what colours to have! I saw a reception table set out in a magazine and it was very country-style (which is what i wanted) and had heaps of purple! So, just about everything is purple!
If you see something you like, and your hubby-to-be like, then go for it! Each wedding is unique! Whatever you decide, decide more than 3 months ahead. Don't leave it to the last minute like I did!
Congrats! Good luck and have fun!

That is totally your decision hon. If you don't have a favorite anything; try looking in a floral bridal magazine. You might be able to come with some ideas there. But what you want is totally up to you.
Here is some place to start. What colors do you usually find that you feel the most comfortable in?

I agree with the first person, pick your flowers first. Then with the dresses, pick a softer shade of the first one you choose. You don't want to look back at photos 5 years down the track and regret your choice. I had shot purple dresses and regret it every time I see the photos.
