Neuroscience is about how the entire nervous system works and has aspects if psychology in it too. Really you get a wide knowledge in the nervous system if you do it at uni but I dunno what sorta course you're talking about. It is useful since you can do many things with neuroscience such as research and even brain surgery! (after a medicine degree)

Psychology is a very interesting subject which deals with personality, memory, disorders and various other things. You can of course get a lot of jobs with a degree in this too.

By the way I know this because I do both at uni.
