who thinks there should be a replay of the classic trilogy in major theaters. Huge screen and great speakers. I can bet it would make lots of profit if marketed correctly.

This is the 30th anniversary of the release of ANH. I'm surprised that Lucas isn't capitializing on that, somehow.
I would go see the originals in the theaters. I've seen them all countless times, but you can't beat a 70 ft screen with surround sound.

Some movie theatres do have special features where they show old movies. When I worked at the theatre in high school we had one Friday every couple of months that they would show an older horror movies....like the Exorcist, The Shining, etc. I think if they released the original in theatres again it would make a killing.

I have to confess, I would enjoy seeing the first 3 Star Wars movies in the theatres.

Indeed, they did it ten years ago for the 20th Anniversary, when Lucas first started putzing around with special editions.
It would be pretty cool if they did theatrical releases every 10 years to celebrate--just as long as they leave the film as it is!

Yeah they already did that. And also released the digitally remastered version as a trilogy box set.
I'm a big SW fan and even I know if he does it again, he's just beating a dead horse.

yes it would, but then my kids would make me take them to it. I don't like Star Wars.
