and the gates have never worked. Can you get out of you lease?

Probably not. You'd have to prove that the inoperative security gates rendered your unit unfit for human occupancy. If your neighborhood is THAT bad, just break the lease and get the hell out!

when I lived in San Diego..
the original unit I moved into had nothing as promised..

I phoned the ...management company and they transferred me........and paid for my move. (they did confirm all my non-working items)..

this was the "management/developer" and he still had units..elsewhere.......

so pick up the phone...and call.. I was originally willing to settle on a "lesser amount".. but the other unit was great.....

so phone......you never know tell you phone...and ask.
