My zune is acting up, it says something about restoring firmware, i tried updating it but it juss fails?

When you first buy Zune it comes with firmware version v1.0 . Zune Software searches Microsoft's and finds the currently available firmware v1.2 . It then tries to pass it on the Zune player.

I don't know exactly why this fails. I would suggest you call the official support about this:

Why don't you just throw that crap to the toilet or to the garbage, zunes allways have some kind of problem. Buy an ipod video.
