Absolutely! It is totally possible to meet someone whose personality you do not like, but on some level you care deeply for them, sometimes it is impossible to explain this to other people, but it is there. I have personally experienced it.

Absolutely, I am a parent and I have to admit that one of my kids and I just do not get a long! I love him so much but he absolutely drives me crazy! I almost wish I was a different type of person so that I could like this child! It is unbelieveably stressful. I hope he's not scarred for life. I would certainly never tell him and do everything that I can do show him affection and love. It has been a real struggle loving someone who is so damn hard to get along with.

yes. I always cared about someone in the past. I finally had a contact with him via email. I believe the feelings came back. But I hate him for how he lies, and make a fool out of me. He is also a sadist. The feeling is still in my heart, always be in here, and will always look out for his best interest but i don't think I want to go out with him. I just can't. How do you call this? is this love? lol. I should post this question.

No. Not really. Like is the basis for what becomes love. You can love someone, like them, and dislike what they do. But eventually, if you do not like what a person does or how they behave, you will lose respect and admiration for them and begin not to like them or love them.

Yes, it is. When you love someone, you do not always like or love their actions as they don't always like or love what you do but that does not mean you would forego your relationship with them.

Sometimes you might even hate what they do but you still love them and so you go on.

without a doubt it is possible.

for example: if you had an abusive parent, it is possible to love them because they are your parent, but to not really like them or enjoy being around them at all.
