Internet Explorer 7 is ready to install - problem-free. It also has the tabbed-browsing feature - similar to Mozilla Firefox. I still don't like using Internet Explorer - version 7 or otherwise - I like Mozilla. But if that's what you want to do - then by all means - it's ready.

yeah, jus what that guy said if it ain't broke don't fix it. Actually i recently upgraded to IE 7 and it works great the new interface takes some getting used to though i still like how IE6 looked. the thing is MS can't will always be releasing patches for IE because they've discovered some vulnerability or exploit or something. you should also look into Mozilla, that's a good browser too.

As to what Kitten said:"internet 7 is only safer than regular internet" i wouldn't believe that if i were you that's just microsoft marketing and hype...you're only safe if you stay off the internet, and only as safe as your firewall and antivirus
