My best friend (for a few years) and I have recently fallen head over heels for each other - we were not expecting this at all - we truly care and adore each other but we decided that right now is not a good time in our lives to have that serious relationships we long from each other.

Any stories are inspirational words??? or actually, movies that show love being stronger the second time? and do YOU believe that love is stronger and better the second time around?

i had a best friend (well best guy friend anyway) all through elementary school, all through middle school, and through freshman year of highschool. we sort of went our separate ways due to differances in interests and all that (freshman year is when i stopped being a sort of tomboy and started getting into girly stuff) we saw each other in classes, and talked and all that, but never out side of school. in april, after getting out of a relationship, i suddenly thoughtt to myself "i wonder what steve is up to?" i hadnt seen him or heard from him since school, almost two years ago. We went bowling, then we went to a baseball game, and about a week after that i kissed him and we havent looked back since. we're engaged and i couldnt be happier. we have told friends who knew us both as long as we knew each other and they said "finally...what took you so long" so give it a whirl man, it could be the greatest thing you ever do.

ok for starters love can be just as good the first time it all depends what ur relationship is like. For me it was way better the second time around because I was not a young teenager head over heels. The second time I knew what I wanted and got it. The first one was really abusive and mean and left because that to me isnt love. I met my present husband years ago and I kind of followed his history and knew that I couldn't ask for a better man because. He is a good provider and a hard worker and most of all a dam good lover...gl and follow your heart because you don't want to regret not doing something and let him get away

My answer is short, but sweet. Love is better the second time around if you learn from your mistakes in previous relationships. Good luck to you!!

Good ?, I think you learn a little about yourself & how to do things differently then before. I always say make yourself a better person & know who you are before you try & know someone else & expect them to know you.
