What is Christiansburg like?

I have to go to Christiansburg, VA for 3 days to be at Blacksburg HS and Christiansburg HS, for this chorus thing...and I was wondering if it's a decent place, and if they have good places to visit.

Christiansburg is pretty dull. They have a small mall, and as far as I know that's about it!! Blacksburg is home to VA Tech - again, not much for a high-schooler to do and keep out of trouble!!

I've never been there, but it sounds like a pretty religious place. So I'm guessing there's not much to do except judge others.
