I asked a question a little while ago about fairy tale sand fantasy and why we don't strive to make them real if we like them so. I received many interesting answers but they al centre red around one central theme, we live in the 'real' world.
While our universe has laws of physics (Chaos Theory, Small World Effect, Thermodynamics, Random Chance, etc.) that prevent the more outrageous parts of fairy tales and fantasy like magic spells, magic creatures, destiny, etc. We are still capable of shaping the world to the way that we wish it to be, this one of the defining characteristics of humans.
So if we can shape the world to our will and if we have our fantasies of what the perfect world would be, why are we unable to make it happen?
AND
What is it about us as humans that makes us make the world the way that it is today?
Serious answers only please.
Please don't say that it is the fault of money, those in power, etc. because we have the ability to change it.

Humans have always had a creative impulse. We tell stories, draw pictures, make music. Our imagination is a great gift. We have shaped the world with science and technology, but we will never stop fantasizing, which is a good thing. Imagine our ancestors looking at the moon and wondering what it was. Our fantasies led to space travel and putting a man on the moon. I think it is our imagination and creativity that drives the technological changes and innovations we've implemented over the years.

Because we all have differing fantasy's!?!? You do realize humans are variants, don't you? You seem to speak as if there was some " essential " human. Or, perhaps an " identity " of man. Who are you to give " the one defining characteristic of humans ". A scientist is able to hold in his mind two concepts at the same time; that there is a universal human nature and that humans are variant. You, obviously, are not doing that. So, you truly do not live in " the real world ".

We are shaping the world. And the leading activity. Beyond any doubt is that deep imagination within each one of us. To not understand it, and just go off into it without any regard to all the realities existent in our lives is not what most of us do. There are those who live entirely in their imagination which is just as real as any other reality if you let it be. And there are those who know how to emulate the reality of life on many levels, including that which is within the imaginative activity and know how to emulat life in reality, each mainting integrety. That way one can have the perspective and determin our particular idea of perfection.

If you want to live life the way you want it, and expect the WORLD to follow, you must start life over from the beginning of consciousness when there were no learned lessons, etc.. No one can go back in time as far as I am concerned.
From this standpoint, I couldn't steal from Bill Gates, hes too smart....and YOU are a fool lol

In all honesty, I have to bend your brain a little and ask you why you think fantasies are not our actual realities. Maybe "existence" is the fantasy you had when you did not exist.
On a lighter note, If fantasy was reality- what would we fantasize about?

God created this world with all the good things for human, plants, and animal. God wants us to look after this world, to make this world worthy for your life. God wants to know: if you live in this world, what can you do to look after it and make it better and better and how do you survive from the disaster. Maybe God wants to know too about: do you be grateful to God about that.
So don't think about the fantasy world like in the game/ story. God had already given you the great world!
