I don't care about the points really but what is up with me having to post the same question several times before it even shows up in the questions section??!!

Anyway,
My 7 week old has had a major breakout all over her face and head. I WOULD think it was a cat allergy or chicken pox or something except that it is only on her head and not on her hands, arms, legs, etc. They ARE white and pusy kinda. When does baby acne usually clear up? Does it sound like it could be heat rash? She sweats a lot. And is there anything anyone has done to help this? I feel so bad cause it is all over her face and by her eyes and on her neck and everything. Any reassurance would help...

There is an entity called neonatal acne that can occur in infants from 1-2 month. It can resemble teenage acne and often affects the same areas (face, chest) but does not scar and does not need treatment. A picture of it:

There is another entity called seborrheic dermatitis (aka cradle cap) that typically breaks out over the face and head. It usually shows up as greasy flakes over the scalp. Treatment includes applying mineral oil to it and combing it out or occasional washing of scalp with tiny amounts of Selsun Blue. A picture of it can be find on Wikipedia by looking for "cradle cap".
