I just saw "Babel" and it made me want to get up and start protesting things...
That movie had so much raw emotional energy...

Wow, that was a good movie. It was so Real, like true everyday instances, and how life is so interconnecting. At the moment, I cant really think of a more inspiring movie.
I wonder what the note said? You who've seen it, know what I mean.

To Live by Zhang Yimou. Ok, it's a Chinese film but you will not be disappointed. The emotional wallop it delivers is tremendous. It is the story of a Chinese family going through the throes of the Chinese communist take over. It isn't political but follows a family through these turbulent times. It was banned in China when it came out. AND it has the beautiful Gong Li in it.
My favorite film of all time.

This answer may sound strange: Forrest Gump. It is such an inspiring story of an ordinary man who accomplishes extrordinary things. Its the whole "triumph of the underdog" thing. It is what we are about in America. Anyone can do anything if they work hard enough and believe.
I just noticed I sound like I'm trying to win the Miss America contest with my answer.
