Angela, there are more candidates than three on each side. This seems reflective of the misconception that those with the press coverage are the only contenders. Just as there are second tier candidates for the Democrat and Republican Primaries, there are also other parties with candidates, whom the media conveniently forgets about. But, it's probably all for the best anyway, since they bank on us being too lazy or uneducated to see if there are any other candidates.

They are currently running for their parties nomination to be the Presidential candidate. And I'm pretty sure that there are more than 3 Democrats that have announced.
