When in Bulgaria in 2005 I went to sleepy old Nessebar (Nesebur). At 11am, there were a crowd of football fans in the town square (about 20/25), laughing, joking, drinking.
When I past that way again about 3 hours later they were still laughing, joking, drinking.
No broken furniture, no fighting, no dead bodies. I remember thinking at the time that it was a pity that English fans abroad could not behave like that. Have a drink, enjoy themselves. Be a bit noisy. But not self destruct.
I later found out that they were Bolton Wanderers fans! What an amazing credit to Bolton they were.
But it needs to be a question. So, were you there; and were you impressed with the real lager at less than 60p per pint?

Hi! I'm from Bulgaria and I can tell you you're very lucky! Why? Because it is rarely to see football fans in Bulgaria not fighting.=)
Joking apart. Of course they would be happy! They support the same team! Does people who likes the same team fight in England? ! I don't think so. But I'm realy happy to hear that you liked Bulgaria. And Nessebar is very beautiful town...
