One of the things you didn't give was your height. If your doctor feels you are much shorter than you should be at your age, then you might want to get a "bone age study" That is an x-ray that tells what age your body is at. If it is very small, then your doc can suggest further testing. Ask what is the percentile (average hight and weight) that you are at. If it is just low, you are still ok. Look at your family. Are they all very much taller than you? or are they all on the small side? If they are petite, then you are ok. It is ok to be small, Lots of girls wish for that. Good luck

You've had your periods for 3 years now. If you were not sufficiently physically mature, you wouldn't be having periods. And if you didn't have enough body fat, you wouldn't be having periods.

So, that's a pretty good signal that you're fine, and simply destined to be petite. There's nothing wrong with that.

The worst thing that you can do for yourself, no matter what your age may be, is to compare yourself in any way, shape or form to anyone else. The trick in life is to learn to love yourself.

Are you having problems with your periods hun as well? Did your pediatrician recommend that you see a pediatric endocrinologist about these issue?

As for how to convince your mom that you need to go to an endocrinologist that is going to have to come from the dr themselves that you really need to go to a pediatric endocrinologist.

Do you have a trusted adult friend that you can talk to about this, or even the school nurse?

first of all, learn how to spell. i had to reread your post several times to understand what you were saying. second, i am not a doctor so i cannot diagnose you if you have a hormone deficiancy. third, explain to your mom that you're worried about your "size" and that you'd like to go to the doctor.

You are not stupid at all, go see the doctor, and if there's something wrong you will know and he will work on it... it's the best you can do.
