I'm going to be in high school next year and the freshmen oreintation is tomorrow night. I'm going to the mall tonight because I want to find something like a cute shirt to wear, but the problem is: I have no clue what I'm looking for! I've been homeschooled for the past couple of years and I'm not really sure what the trends are and what everybody wears to school. I'm about 5'8" and have blonde hair, green eyes, and fair skin. Please list any suggestions or tips for me on what clothes I should look for and everything.

I really like the style of a cute plain t-shirt, a high belt, capri pants, and heels. But then again, it depends on your body style. I can't wear the style because I have hips and a butt, so it makes me look huge in the butt area! But it is really cute. I'd go with a red t-shirt, black undershirt, black high belt (like a really thick one with a big buckle), jean capris and black heels. Good luck. Hope I helped a little bit.

Just Look Casual. You know? Go To Abercrombie. Hollister. American Eagle. Or Aeropostale And Find Some Cute Shirts.
You dont Wanna go Lookin Dressy Cause You'll feel Awkward. Hahhaha. Jeans And A T Shirt. Youll Look Great.
And Dont Worry about it. Being a Freshman isnt all that Bad. I went From Private School For Two Years To Freshman in Public. Lol. Dont Worry about a Thing!

The key is to be yourself. But really, here are some trends:
Pearls: Layer a few strands of (fake!) pearls with some silver necklaces.
Belts: Try wearing a bright blue T-shirt, red shoes, and a red belt. The way to wear a belt now is to put it right below your bust, or you can have it slung around your hips.
Leggings: Find a cute dress and wear it over a pair of footless tights. Find some tights in a funky pattern and just keep the rest of your outfit simple.
Ballet Flats: Wear a pair of ballet flats with jeans or footless tights. Black is basic and goes with everything. But colors like purple or yellow really make an outfit POP!
Chunky necklaces: Wear a few long necklaces with a chunky necklace and a t-shirt.
Dresses: Wear a light, flowy dress that goes a little past your knees with footless tights and a hassle-free hair do.
Vintage: Find old, vintage pieces and mix and match them with current trends. Find an old fashioned, delicate shirt and pair it wish jeans and trendy shoes.

Find a basic T-shirt and flick paint onto it!
Cut holes into one of your t-shirts!
Put a patch on the pocket of your jeans!
Just do what you like, and your outfit will turn out great...

a cute shirt any kind and to go along with that now we wear beaded necklaces and beaded bracelets so try to find that jewlry in the color of your outfit make sure your shoes are matching with your outfit though because if they arnt it throwes the whole outfit off we also wear cute stylish head bands that also match with the outfit so spruce up your hair and get ready because high school is a very big thing to look up to. i hope i helped GOOD LUCK GIRL !!!!

what yhou should so is go to a hollister or American Eagle and they have all the trends so you will never tell you have been homeschooled trust me i went from private school to a public scholl and i went shopping at hose places and people just thought i just moved from a differnent state so hope this helps

buy a cute outfit from weat seal...or forever 21 just look around see what looks good and do something that discribes urself....but is still in trend...you dont want to go to an orentation looking totally blended in cuz everyone around u is wearing a&f or hollister, ..... and good luck!!! - ag

Go on people.com or usweekly.com You can look at recent pics of celebs outfits. Also, you can check out their hair and accessories! You can type "hilary duff" in their search engine and look at all her pics. She has a young and fresh style. You don't need name brands to look good! Target actually has some cute spring looks on the floor right now. Good Luck!

you should go with something that expresses you but if you want to go along with trends while youre in the mall go to a sales clerk and ask her/him about the newest trends

Wear a skirt. (not to mini, this is a freshmen orientation) And a longsleeve pink or green. The skirt should be black, not leather, too skanky.
