What is your opinion of this statement?:
"From what I understand about guys (which, admittedly, is very little) NOT hearing from him can really be a good sign.
I think, a lot of times, they do that when they REALLY like ya--sometimes because they don't want to screw it up by seeming pushy, sometimes because they like you more than they feel ready for."

Just like women, It completely depends on the guy. Some guys are shy and don't call, Some guys like to have stupid little games and tests like what you mentioned (( to see if you are pushy or clingy)) Some guys are very apathetic and you have to light fires under them to get them to do anything . Other guys however are overly forward and obsessive and will call you constantly, Some are nice and will keep being polite, but will call you after they have decided they like you. Some are Players and will call you just because you wear a skirt and they have no more intrest then that, and sometimes they are just a nice guy who will call when he's ready.
There really isn't a way to generalize. I suggest if it's been a week or so and you're wondering, call him and ask. If he's a decent person He's likely to tell you one way or the other.

Well that's just childish! If thhis is someone that you would like to share your time with, then don't wait for him to call you. Take the initiative and let him know that you're interested and would like to know if he feels the same. If so, great! If not, then you know and can stop wasting your life away waiting for a phone that'll never ring -- or only rings when he wants something from you. Don't let it get to that point. People *will* use you if they know they can do so by taking advantage of your emotions. (That's what advertising and sales people are all about!)
In essence, what I'm saying is that life is too short to waste it pining over "will he" or "won't he"s. Ask your question and move on. There are waaaay too many guys out there for you to kill yourself over one who's "on the fence" or has stuff "going on".
Make yourself happy and you'll find others falling all over themselves to do the same. You'll see! Good luck.

well, it depends on their age & the situation with you. If they are out of high school, then usually they will climb a 100 ft. fence, fight a fire breathing dragon, walk 20 miles, etc. to be with you. Usually if a guy is interested enough, he will definitely make the effort. If you're not hearing from him, then he is either young & just goofing around (cuz that's what they do) or he is not seriious and not into you. sorry, just telling u the truth. Be wise and don't bug him or call etc., hang tight & the right guy will come calling eventually. :)

I agree; most guys are shy and have the same fears as women and just don't know how to express themselves. Sometimes they are waiting for the woman to call back first to show some interest. I think people need to learn how to be more open with each other

That to some extent is true and I totally agree. I has happened to many people i know severally. Mos of the time the don want to get too pushy.

True for some men, untrue for others. I really don't believe that we can make generalities this broad. Guys are guys... but they are also individuals and react differently from each other. If they didn't.... we wouldn't spend so much time trying to figure them out! *grin*
If this is you and you want to hear from him... call him. Then... well... you'll know.

your in? however , if a guy likes & wants to see you , Hey he,ll make time to call you ...
this is an opinion , that you might not want you hear . But its true.

False. If you don't hear from the guy, he's not that into you. Granted, he may not call the next day, but if you haven't had contact within 3-4 days . . . well, I'd be looking for the next guy to come along.

Not hearing back from a guy is worrisome.
If your limit is three days, you call. If the guy doesn't respond, once again, then he is not worth your concern.
Not hearing from him is not knowing and we deserve to know.

Honesty time... 80%+ of the time it is because they don't feel like talking to you, or it is due to them completely forgetting that they even said they would call.
If you call and show interest, most guys will respond... we'll take anything...lol!
