Use the cream, a minimal amount until tomorrow but don't use the inserts and try to eat food that is high in bacteria, like yogurt and cottage cheese. Good luck and congrats!

With my daughter a yeast infection was the first sign of my pregnancy. I've also had several yeast infections with my 2 other pregnancies. You should ALWAYS ask you doctor first but here is what my midwife told me. You can use an over the counter yeast infection treatment but ONLY the 7 day treatment. They said monistat but also told me that generic, such as Wal-Mart or something is the same thing and that is fine. Good luck - sorry about the infection - I know it is NO FUN!

At 7 months I wouldnt risk trying any over the counter meds. You should be able to call an after hour midwife, and she could possibly call you in a script. If not, try to hang in there until you can be seen by your physician, and he can prescribe something specifically for your needs.

My doctor told me to use monostat. I had 2 yeast infections during my first pregnancy. I think after the 1st trimester it's safe to use. Obviously check with your OB first. This was 7 years ago, so they may have changed that recommendation by now, or not.

I think you are able to use the creams not the inserts. I would eat a ton of yogurt and try and stay out of soapy bath tubs, no sex, make sure you dry yourself completely after you shower (and I don't mean your feet). Call your doctor asap, he or she should have an on call line with another doctor to answer your question. Good luck yeast sucks.

DO NOT USE ANYTHING until you have spoken with your doctor. If you cant wait until tomarrow then go to a 24 our clinic or urgent care.
Doing otherwise could result very badly for baby

Ask your doctor. Usually they'll prescribe monistat or some kind of cream. Don't worry as long as you follow directions from your doctor you will be ok! Best of luck!
