First off you need to pay off the balance you owe. Once you pay it off, your bank will send notification to Checksystems that the account has been paid. You will then be able to open a new account at another bank. (The process usually takes a couple of weeks, though.) Don't worry, if you have accounts at another institution they will not close down your accounts just because you have a charge off with another bank. They won't even be notified.

The other accounts that you have at the same bank may be in jeopardy, though. The bank may debit/close them down in order to pay off the debt owed on the charged-off account.

You have to pay them back. Especailly with checking accounts, each financial instiution has a varied grace period for you to get you account back to positive. Once the period is over you are reported to chexsystems. The best thing to do is pay the balance regardless. Yes you will still be in chexsytems, but at least the record will have (amount owed have been paid) It will be hard to get accounts, but you may want to try credit unions, Several of them have fresh start accounts.

you need to go to the bank and tell them your account was closed and you need to pay an outstanding debt. Depending on how long you have owed this money will depend IF they will open your accounts again and YES......it will make it hard to get an account at another bank.

i dont undertand your question. But the best recommendation I can give you is to call your bank and have an argument with them cuz they cannot close your accounts just like that.
