I am Chevy fan but putting a F350 against 1500 the Ford is going to win. now the 3500 could win, but the F350 is a work horse and IMO has a better frame and rear end for towing, the chevy is putting down more HP and troque so it could go either way.

If you mean by F350 the 7.3 turbo diesel VS. the GM 3500 6.5 turbo diesel, I am a diehard chevy fan, but I would have to give this one to the ford, chevrolet has never had a very good diesel engine, no matter what anyone says, I love chevy and that is all that I will ever own, but I've had a 7.3, and I know that GM's diesels suck. they just don't have enough cast iron in the bottom end, nor do they have the fuel injectors, or the turbo pressure to keep up w/ the ford 7.3. Now the ford 6.0 turbo diesel, is very fast for a diesel truck, but it does not have the tork that it takes to pull. So that would depend on the gear ratios, weight, transmissions, etc. I have had about every kind of diesel that's out there, and if you want a real truck w/ tork and pulling power, you want to go w/ the dodge cummins, 12 valve 1998 and older, they last forever, and have the pulling style of a semi.... hints the inline six cylender.

i'm a chevy man..but the ford would win because it's an F350, and the Power strokes were stronger than the 6.5 liter diesels. Put a Duramax against a PS and then we'll see. Duramax would def. win.

The key to your question is a one ton F350 against a 1500 1/2 ton Siverado. The F350 would win because it is almost a ton heavier. However if what you meant to say was a 3500 Siverado, the Silverado would win by a nose.

Well lets see, you are putting two COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT vehicles against each other, Chevy is better and don't try to out beat it or the sign saying ford might pop off in depression.

actually, the ford would out pull the chevy, whether the 350 v 1500 OR the 350 v the 3500. ford doesn't outsell chefvy because of the name alone. it's a superior truck. bottom line.
