I think he will retire. He will either be a Yankee, or retire.

He will probably retire within the next couple weeks...BUT...I think he should go play elsewhere. He isn't the star he was in his 5 year stretch but he could still get 500 at-bats and hit 15 home runs and bat about .285. Don't retire a Yankee...16 years were great but if they don't want him anymore then he should go prove them wrong by playing elsewhere.

He should go to Boston! There he can show those yankees he can still play baseball. Bernie .320 BA, 47 homers, 132 RBI. MVP for Boston. BU yaaa!!!

he should retire and he will retire.....Bernie Williams has already played his last game

Bernie doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would not have reported to training camp by now if he had any intention of playing this year (as opposed to some other Rocket....uh....Yankee)

If this injury to Abreu is more severe than we suspect, I can only speculate. However, look for Bernie to retire. Gracefully.

haha - i really want to see him end up a red sock...

okay - im a jays fan - from toronto so this is kinda a weird answer.
it's unforunate my blue jays have to be in a division with boston and new york, but i've learnt to live with the fact that u just have to laugh at the rivalry..

Bernie in Boston would be priceless!

Hopefully he will retire. Bernie is a Yankee. I can't imagine him in another uniform.

Retired, which he actually ought to have done a year ago.

He's very much on the downside, and precipitously close to the bottom of that downside.

No, he doesn't have HOF numbers, either.

I think he'll retire. He's only played for the Yankees, so it would be to hard for him to play for another team.

He will either retired or just decide to go with the minor league deal the yanks gave to him..or unless sum team gives him $$$$$$...he will go there.
