Since we moved from an apartment to our new place (yes it is smaller and different furniture, etc) I've received no less than 3, usually more, shin & elbow bumps, scratches & bruises, head knocks, finger splits, cut & slivers , strained back, pained tri & bi-ceps,calfs & quads, etc etc etc! At first I thought it was the usual moving tribulations, the broken nail, the box dropped on the toe, but after over a month now, I'm wondering if there's something more sinister (?) going on--Is it self-inflicted (for some obscure, psycological reason) ? Did the previous owners of our tiny home die here & are haunting us? I'm not smokin' any more dope than usual so that can't be it--& the doctor keeps a tight grip on how many pain meds I get--and my drinking's way down...--JUST KIDDING on those LAST few comments :~D

That always happens to me too when I move and I seem to do it every 3-5 years.
I will tell you why this happens. It is stress. When we are moving our minds wonder to take us away from the stress of this chore. You are not paying close attention to what you are doing and therefore get all kinds of battle marks, sore bruises and such.
It seems to happen every time to me. And when I really put my finger on the cause I realize my mind is not concentrating on what I am doing and I just want to get through it.

Now I have moved before at little at a time. A few boxes a day over a week or two. This makes all the difference in the world. Your mind will not wander if you are doing the moving in increments of 1-2 hours. It is just like being in a boring class for longer and your mind wanders to other things.

Try the slow move it you can.

do no longer over react-refer to them and ask approximately how this occurs. i'm going to assert that those play vehicles could properly be difficult in the event that they are dashing to the subsequent element they could get a foot nevertheless interior the vehicle mutually as they are in action and bam-face plant. yet those issues do happen and it makes you fearful and makes you problem even nevertheless it does not consistently make a foul day care the two. teenagers as they become older are greater energetic and on the bypass. She has been attending without problem for a while. perhaps they have had a team replace or she has moved to a older team. i could refer to them related to the injuries and spot what you will locate out. i be responsive to that my son has a tendency to be greater nimble at domicile because of the fact he's familiar with mom will wait on him-at day care issues are consistently occurring and his little friends are on the flow so somedays he basically strikes too quickly and gets himself tripped up. the different element to think of of (in the previous you bounce to the assumption they are doing something incorrect) is what variety of footwear does she have been to day care? She sounds like she is now greater energetic-so a good sturdy shoe that keeps to be on is termed for and not a lovable shoe that could capture on journey on products and such. And in the event that they mulch the backyard (in VA they are required to have mulch on all surfaces out doorways close to play platforms) be leary of open toe footwear that could permit mulch get in under thier ft or reason a splinter. If it rather is the 1st problem you have had with them, then do no longer assume the worst-refer to them and spot what they could desire to assert. All teenagers are going to get bumps and scrapes at a while (it could additionally happen with you sooner or later). yet once you think of the problem is understaffing or unfavorable maintenance of the play backyard or some intense problem, then you fairly could desire to be waiting to take her out.
