I have a 4 year old as well who didn't crawl until she was 9 mos old ( the youngest crawled at 6 mos) and didn't start walking or even pulling up until like 1 year. I know all babies are diffrent, but i think this is really early to be trying to walk. Anyone elses kids set milestone early?

My daughter started crawling a month ago and half ago. A month ago she started pulling up on the furniture. She has 8 teeth and is working on #9 & #10. She can say "Hey", "Yeah", and "No." She can wave bye-bye, clap her hands, click her tongue, and we are working on blowing kisses. I'd say my daughter is way ahead of schedule. It's okay, earlier is better than later. Good Luck!

no that is not strange at all. every baby will progress differently.

my youngest walked at 10 months, was pulling up by 8 and was crawling between 4 and 6 mos. he was also sitting up early, and pulling up in the crib about the same time as crawling.

it's a wonderful fun age - get a great camera!

I don't find it strange at all. My 8 mos DD started to pull herself up at 7mos. I loved it because she would exhaust herself from the exercise and would take wonderful naps. As for the milestones she hit everyone between1to 1 half months early. Every child is different and there is no need to worry or to think hitting milestones early is strange.

That's not strange, all babies develop differently. My first born didn't walk until his first birthday. My second born was crawling at 4 months and walking at 8 months. My new born is 5 months old and just learned to roll over. See how different babies can be? Enjoy this time, it goes by so fast!

My oldest daughter stood up and took her first 4 steps at the age of 8 months. A couple of weeks later she was walking.
She completed all the milestones very early. My second was a little bit late and didnt walk till 10 months.
So yes its quite normal.

My oldest son was pulling up on furniture at about 8 months and walking by 10 months. Some babies are just in a hurry to get a move on LOL!

I walked at 9 months old and my daughter started pulling up at around 8-9 months also, every kid is different and if your baby wasn't ready to do it then it wouldn't be happening. Good luck and enjoy the first steps.

Older sibling can motivate a baby to start developing early but some babies are just ahead. my brother walked at 8mos. good luck you'll need it.
