You should wash both sides. There are germs that get on both sides. You dont want them spreading around. EVEN if you do only eat on the one side.*

Well, when you stack them, one front side is going to touch one back side, so it's important that you wash both sides.

if you stack your dishes one on top of the other you should wash both sides.

um...yeah, the bottom would start to get nasty, and when you stack your dishes the dirty bottom would be on the clean top...so yeah wash BOTH sides.
