Our 96 Chevy Z-71 "Check Engine Light" came on recently so I downloaded a fault in one of the O2 Sensors.... Is there a way that I can check them electrically to find out which one is bad? The truck has 4 of them( Yes I said 4!! ), and we really don't want to spend the money on a mechanic... Any help or info would be great!!!

Just to clarify, it was an O2 voltage fault code.... I think like 0141 or something similar....

if you pulle dtcs from the pcm it should say something like o2 sensor bnk1 sens2, or some other combination of ones and twos. Was it an o2 voltage or an o2 heater code??

a quick scan test, will tell you which one it is,(some garages may do this for free, others may charge up to a hour.Other than that is just guesswork, unless you want to get under there & measure voltages from the signal wire on all 4 sensors
