What would it feel and look like I think I broke my finger from slamming it in a locker.

Contrary to what was said above, if your finger is broken and displaced and you need to see a doctor to have it fixed. The only way to tell if it is broken is with an xray, and then if it is a displaced fracture it could need set or pinned. Both are things a doctor needs to do that you CAN'T do at home.

Ice and elevate to reduce swelling, take an over the counter anti inflammatory like advil or motrin if you aren't allergic and go see a doctor. An untreated fracture could cause you to loose use of the finger and decrease your abilities to use that hand in the future.

Ok ive broken at least all my fingers once and it gets all swelled up and it may turn like a bruise looking color where you hit it. Ice it for the first 48 hours to reduce the swelling then you can use heat to reduce the pain. Go to a orthopedic doctor so he or she can look at it and they will probably get an x-ray to seee wehre the break is. If you cant get to one soon take a popsicle stick and put t on the bottom of your broken finger on it and then wrap it in medical tape till you can see the doctor. When you get to the doctor they will probably either tape it or use a metal finger brace to put your finger in. Get Better!

I did that JUST to get out of playing my violin in orchestra.

it will be discolored. Maybe even crooked.
and it will hurt like an SOB

Toes and fingers are pretty easy to break, but nothing a doctor could do that you can't at home,
re set it, and sprint it, and let the healing begin.

Just keep it away from lockers
